Chase Oliver | Mike ter Maat For President & Vice President

This election cycle, the Libertarian Party Presidential ticket of Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat will not be on the ballot in Illinois.

The reason is that restrictive ballot access laws imposed by Democrats and Republicans make it difficult for new parties to get their Presidential candidates on the ballot.

Thankfully, nearly all Illinois voters can cast votes for the candidates by writing in their names instead of punching a ballot line. Write in Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat for President and Vice President to make your vote count!

If you are unsure of how to write in a candidate, it’s fairly simple:

  • If it is a paper ballot, you will use the pen given to physically write in the names on the line. You may also need to fill in a bubble.

  • If it is an electronic ballot, you will manually punch in the letters on the screen as if you were typing them.

  • If you are unsure, ask an election judge.
